Ahhhhhh, all of the candles are lit! We’ve gone from darkness to a room, menorah, full of light, isn’t it gorgeous? Yes, yet it is.
We are so used to a world where we dim each other’s lights, but not tonight. Tonight we look around the room and see the brightness for what it is. We understand that there is enough oxygen in the room to let everyone’s light shine at its brightest. We believe that when we shine individually we are doing what we were meant to do. We know that when that we combine our light like we see on the last night of Hanukkah with a fully lit menorah that we cannot be dimmed.
Bask in that glow, folks. Take it all in, let it warm you. Let it inspire you.
Happy Hanukkah, y’all.
